Paseo De Roxas--Runway to Makati Business District


Paseo de Roxas is an arterial commercial avenue in Makati Central Buisness District named after the founder of Ayala Corporation, Domingo Roxas. The land was formerly the old Nielson field Airport owned by Zobel de Ayala family serving as the runway path along with Ayala Avenue.

From Arnaiz Avenue being the western starting point, Paseo de Roxas geographically comprises a six-lane avenue cutting through the middle of central business district that connects west (San lorenzo Village) to east (Bel-Air village). Paseo crosses the Legaspi Village passing through landmarks such as Greenbelt mall complex, Asian Institute of Management and city's several mid rise office and residential towers. As it continues through the east of Ayala Avenue called Salcedo Village, the north side shows prominence of high rise buildings while the south feautures the entire length of Ayala Triangle Gardens.
